Gandras Catheter
Gandras catheters represent new advances in the catheterization of uterine pelvic arteries and visceral vascular territories. The flexible shaft of the Gandras catheter facilitates ipsilateral and contralateral access, while a radiopaque-loaded distal segment provides enhanced visualization under fluoroscopy. The ultra-tapered distal segment with hydrophilic coating provides the benefits of a microcatheter without the added cost. The Gandras catheter is available in 2cm, 4cm and 6cm distal tip lengths for customized arterial placement, and these models now come with a radiopaque marker band at the primary curve.
The new Gandras VISCI-G (model 5585) catheter has the benefits of the Gandras, and combines a shorter overall length and shorter distal tip to facilitate precise and stable arterial placement in the visceral vascular territories.
